Cool shots! I've gotta go look up what sort of bird that is... while wondering what the pensive blond is reflecting on. ;o)
It's a Kookaburra, a KIngfisher, a very iconic Australian bird, aka Laughing Jackass, because of its call - a raucous laugh-like cackling, heard mostly in the morning or evening (during the day means there's rain coming!).
