We're having a break in a resort just outside Hoi An. Its a very pleasant mid-20s, the humidity fairly high, and storms and rain showers around. I like it.
A typhoon disappeared the beach last year and a rock wall has replaced it. Once was beach:
Da Nang (remember, the air hub of the American War) is about 30 minutes away. It now has an international airport and is in the middle of a massive construction phase throwing up massive resorts, a convention centre, a casino of the worst Crowne kind, wide boulevards and it's heading to Vegas meets Hawaii quicker than you can say Hoi An is world heritage listed.
